
South Sudan Showcases Businesses at 25th EAC MSMEs Trade Fair (Via Jakony.com)
(NAIROBI) – South Sudan is taking part in the 25th East Africa Community (EAC) Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Trade Fair. The fair runs from 7 to 16 November 2025 at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi. South Sudan has been given 13 November as South Sudan Day.
The South Sudan booth is organised by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, together with leading women entrepreneurs. The aim is to show the quality of South Sudan products and to encourage trade and investment.
Visitors will see a wide range of “Made in South Sudan” products, including food, oils, flours, natural skincare and handicrafts.

The embassy of South Sudan in Nairobi has encouraged South Sudanese, investors, business people and the public to visit the booth. Attendees can meet entrepreneurs, try products and explore business opportunities.
Jakony.com reported that the South Sudan Embassy in Nairobi was closed last week. It is not clear if operations have moved online or if the mission has reopened. The portal has reached out to the embassy for clarification.
