(JUBA) – Africa International University leadership met with Professor M. R. Kabir, the Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University in Bangladesh, and Archbishop Elias Taban, a co founder and board member of Emmanuel Christian University in South Sudan.
The meeting focused on building a working relationship that could benefit higher education in South Sudan and beyond.
During the discussion, the three leaders signed an Expression of Interest.
This agreement will allow the universities to explore strategic cooperation aimed at improving academic standards, encouraging innovation and supporting shared development goals that are important for communities in South Sudan.
The partnership is expected to create opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint programmes and capacity building. These efforts are intended to support future leaders in South Sudan by strengthening access to quality education and promoting ideas that can support peace, development and social progress.
Africa International University stated that it remains guided by its core values. These include a strong faith based foundation, integrity, excellence, servant leadership and responsible use of resources.
The university said these principles are central to its mission of preparing leaders who can bring positive change to their communities and contribute to a better world.
The involvement of Emmanuel Christian University through Archbishop Elias Taban reflects the continued interest of South Sudan institutions in expanding international academic links.
