(MOROBO COUNTY) – The former Commissioner of Morobo County, Charles Data Bullen, has officially handed over office to his successor, Joseph Mawa Okuba, in a formal ceremony held at the county head quarters on Tuesday.
The handover process included the transfer of key instruments of authority such as official emblems, stamps, documents, and a detailed briefing on the county’s financial and revenue status.
During the transition, Bullen also presented updates on ongoing development projects, including those supported by development partners and government-led initiatives. He noted that his administration initiated the construction of a three-star government administrative building and urged the new commissioner to mobilize resources to complete the unfinished project.
Bullen further expressed his willingness to support the incoming leadership, emphasizing the need for cooperation in advancing peace, unity, and development across Morobo County.
In his remarks, Commissioner Joseph Mawa Okuba commended his predecessor for conducting a transparent handover and for his service to the county. He underscored the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to drive development efforts and improve the well-being of residents.
The leadership transition marks a new chapter for Morobo County, with expectations of continued progress through joint efforts and sustained commitment.
