(JUBA) – The 7th Juba Auto Show was held on 16 August 2025 at Midan Rainbow in Juba. The event brought together more than 30 companies from South Sudan’s car industry and related businesses. It also included the launch of the planned Juba Auto Center, which is expected to provide new services and create opportunities for growth on the edges of the city.
The show included a wide range of displays, from cars and motorcycles to electric vehicles and car auctions. Visitors also saw the launch of the first Juba Auto Magazine and the introduction of the Juba Auto Show Rally Center.
Deputy Governor of Central Equatoria State, Hon. Paulino Lokudu Obede, attended as guest of honour. He said the new Juba Auto Center project would help create jobs and improve services, while also contributing to the wider development of Juba.
The Auto Show has grown steadily since its first edition in 2021. The second edition, held in December 2022 at Bros Hotel in Konyo Konyo, hosted 24 companies compared with 16 in the first event. Organisers at the time said the main aim was to connect car dealers with business people and other service providers.
By 2024, the fifth edition focused more on supporting small businesses. The organisers said it had become a space for entrepreneurs to display their products, sell cars, and work with partners such as insurance firms. The founder, Mandela Nelson Denis, explained that the event was also helping to promote teamwork and professionalism in the car industry.
The seventh edition built on this progress. It attracted local and international companies, introduced new products, and offered space for networking. Brands such as Toyota, Hyundai, and Etihad Auto Limited joined local businesses to show their vehicles and services.
