(Juba, CESGPU) – The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Lt. Gen. Rabi Mujung Emmanuel, received a delegation from the University of Juba’s School of Business and Management on Friday at the State Secretariat.
The academic team was led by Ring Longar Gum, the Deputy Dean of the School, and came to offer their congratulations following Governor Mujung’s recent appointment to lead the state.
The visit was conducted in a formal setting, with the delegation presenting their compliments to the Governor while reaffirming the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and state leadership.
Governor Mujung welcomed the University representatives with appreciation, describing the visit as a reflection of the strong ties between government and higher education in South Sudan.
He emphasized the role of education in advancing development, noting that academic institutions play a central part in shaping leaders and public policy.
The visiting team expressed their confidence in Governor Mujung’s leadership, highlighting his personal history as a member of the academic community.
The delegation noted that the Governor’s previous educational achievements were a source of pride for the University of Juba and could inspire future students.
As a token of goodwill, the University staff presented symbolic gifts and shared messages of support for Governor Mujung’s tenure.
Governor Mujung is a graduate of the University of Juba, holding two Master’s degrees, one in Public Administration and the other in Business Administration, both from the School of Business and Management. His educational background and leadership record were key talking points during the meeting.
