[BREAKING] – Religious Leader Murdered in Juba Suburb

(JUBA) – Rev. Christopher Maring, a senior pastor of the Africa Inland Church, was shot and killed at his home in Juba’s Gudele suburb on Tuesday evening at around 7:30 pm. The attack was carried out by unidentified armed individuals, according to the Deputy Presiding Bishop of the church, Martin Mogga.

Bishop Mogga said the assailants forcibly entered Rev. Maring’s residence before opening fire. No further information has been released regarding possible motives or suspects.

The Africa Inland Church leadership has stated that more details will be provided on Thursday morning as investigations continue. Authorities in Juba are yet to release an official statement.
