SSRA Launches Certificate Programmes for Professionals in South Sudan/PHOTO CREDITS: National Revenue Portal
(JUBA) – The South Sudan Revenue Authority (SSRA) has opened enrolment for professional training courses through its education division, the South Sudan Institute of Revenue Administration (SSIRA). Classes begin on 23 February 2026 at Juba – Yei Road.
The courses, lasting three to six months, include certificates in Customs and Freight Logistics, Management and ICT, Tax Administration and EAC Forwarding and Freight Practicing. SSIRA offers both short and long programmes designed to strengthen professional skills and improve efficiency in revenue collection.
SSRA said the purpose of the training is to build capacity within the authority and across South Sudan, improve professionalism, and enhance revenue performance.
A statement on online portals said the institute aims to become a centre of excellence in customs and taxation studies for both local and international learners.
It also added that its mission is to provide practical, competency based training, research and consultancy using experienced professionals.
Interested candidates are encouraged to enrol and join the next generation of revenue professionals helping to shape South Sudan’s economic future.
