Two Year Old Girl Killed in Overnight Russian Attack on Apartment Block in Sumy Region

(ROMNY, SUMY REGION) – Four people were killed in a Russian drone strike on an apartment building in the Romny community of Sumy region overnight, including a two year old girl and her mother, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov reported on Friday.

The death toll from the overnight Russian attack rose from an initial report of two to four. Mr Hryhorov said two women, an elderly man and a little girl under two years old were killed. The Russian strike took the child’s life along with her mother.

Three other men were injured in the attack. All are receiving the necessary medical assistance.

According to updated information, Russian forces attacked an apartment building with a strike drone. The impact caused a massive fire, the head of the Regional Military Administration stated.

Earlier, two deaths had been reported from the Russian attack in Sumy region.
