(YEI RIVER COUNTY) – An SPLM parliamentary candidate for Yei West has unveiled a four-point agenda focusing on unity, peace, basic services and empowerment ahead of the elections.
According to campaign material provided to Access Radio, Sallah John Paul, presented as an SPLM candidate for Member of Parliament representing Constituency Number Seven in Yei West (Lasu and Tore) is aspiring to represent the area in the Central Equatoria State Legislative Assembly.
The campaign materials identifies unity and inclusion as its first pillar, with a pledge to build a constituency where every voice is heard.
The second pillar focuses on peace, security and stability, including promoting lasting peace and strengthening security.
Under the third pillar, the candidate promises to prioritizes healthcare, education, clean water and improved infrastructure for communities.
The fourth pillar focuses on youth and women empowerment, with a commitment to promote participation in leadership, innovation and development.
The campaign is being promoted under the message, “One People, One Vision, One Mission.”
