MTN South Sudan Thanks Partners in 2025 Event

(JUBA) – MTN South Sudan held a Stakeholder Appreciation Event on 11 December 2025 at the Pyramid Continental Hotel. The event brought together partners, regulators and industry leaders to recognise their support in expanding digital services across South Sudan.

The event began with a speech from MTN South Sudan CEO, Mapula Bodibe. She spoke about the company’s work to improve mobile and internet services.

Keynote speeches were given by the National Communications Authority and the Bank of South Sudan highlighting the importance of cooperation between government, regulators and private companies.

Guests watched a video showing MTN South Sudan’s work in 2025. The video covered achievements, community projects, business support programmes, and the expansion of 4G+ network coverage across towns and rural areas.

A panel discussion was held on “The Power of Public-Private Partnerships in Driving Digital Transformation.” Participants included MTN leaders, government representatives, and technology hub officials. They talked about how working together can improve digital services, support businesses, and encourage innovation.

The event also reinforced MTN South Sudan’s mission to connect communities and help grow the country’s economy. Company officials said they would continue working with partners to expand network coverage and provide new digital services.

MTN South Sudan thanked all stakeholders for their support and said that cooperation will be key to building a more connected and prosperous South Sudan.
