(JUBA) – The Central Equatoria State Cabinet held an ordinary meeting to discuss a proposal by the Minister of Housing, Land, and Public Utilities, David Morbe, on developing a Strategic Land Management System. The plan aims to review and assess public land and government houses across the state.
The meeting, chaired by Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony, involved detailed discussions on the proposal. Cabinet members provided inputs and suggestions to improve the plan. Minister Morbe was directed to include the amendments raised during the discussions and present the updated proposal at the next cabinet meeting.
Governor Adil thanked the ministers for their contributions and encouraged them to continue working to make their ministries more effective in delivering services to the public. The governor emphasised the importance of proper land management for the state’s growth and development.
The Strategic Land Management System is expected to provide clear records of public land and government property. Officials said the system could help improve planning, reduce disputes over land, and ensure better use of state assets.
