
PHOT CREDITS - CESGPU - Digitel to Expand in Central Equatoria
(JUBA) – Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony of Central Equatoria State met with the Executive Vice President of Digitel South Sudan, De Chan Awuol, to discuss plans to expand telecommunication services across the state.
Mr Awuol said working closely with the state government is important for increasing network coverage and improving access to mobile and internet services. He praised the state leadership for supporting the company’s partnerships and projects.
Governor Adil spoke about Digitel South Sudan’s role in closing the digital gap in the state. He said the government is ready to support the company’s work to expand its network and give more people and businesses better connectivity.
The meeting also looked at areas where the company could invest and work with the government. These include building new infrastructure and improving services in both towns and rural areas. Officials said the expansion will help businesses operate more efficiently, improve communication and support economic growth in the state.
