(LAINYA COUNTY) – The Press Secretary of Lainya County Isaac Boboya Lemi has resigned from his position with immediate effect, saying he wants to focus on farming.
In a resignation statement shared widely on social media platforms on Thursday afternoon, the official said the decision would allow him sufficient time to concentrate on his farm work under the “Pele Geleng Cooperative Society”.
Boboya expressed gratitude to the county administration for the opportunity and trust given to him during his service and pledged continued support for the administration’s vision and leadership.
The outgoing Press Secretary said he is ready to formally hand over his responsibilities once the County Administration appoints a successor.
He added that the new official would also be given access to the County Press Unit’s communication platform to ensure continuity of official information.
