(OPINION/Yeka Joel) – The successful dedication of St James Nursery and Primary School marks an important moment for the community and brings a call for continued support.
St James Nursery and Primary School is a faith based institution located in Nyongwe Sub Boma of Ronyi Boma in Yei Town Payam. The school represents a source of hope for the community, especially for children from families of returnees and internally displaced people.
During the dedication ceremony, a wide range of people attended, including parents, community leaders and representatives from different levels of the community. Their prayers and support showed a shared commitment to supporting the education of young people.
St James School aims to provide vulnerable children with access to quality education and give them the tools they need to succeed both academically and socially. The goal is to create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged and motivated to learn.
To sustain and expand this mission, support is needed from individuals and organisations who want to make a positive difference in the lives of these children. Anyone interested in supporting the stability and progress of families in the community is invited to reach out to learn how they can help. Support can come in different forms, including financial contributions, school supplies, volunteering time or providing mentorship.
By working together, the community can build a brighter future for its children and strengthen the social fabric of Yei. Support for St James Nursery and Primary School can help create a caring environment where every child has access to education.
Community involvement is important for the success of the school and the well being of the wider community. Working together can help ensure that every child has the chance to learn and grow in a supportive and caring environment.
