(LAINYA COUNTY) – Kuda University Juba has announced scholarship opportunities for students from Lainya County, working with the office of the county commissioner, the Lainya County Press Unit said.
The initiative is aimed at improving access to higher education for young people in the county by offering degree, diploma and certificate courses at the university’s Nyakuron West Campus in Juba.
Officials said six students will be selected from each of the five payams in Lainya County, with equal numbers of male and female candidates. The scholarships are strictly reserved for residents of Lainya County.
Applicants are required to submit an application letter together with supporting documents to the County Education Department in Lainya. Shortlisting will be carried out by county authorities, and successful candidates will be contacted directly.
County Education Director Festus Laki Lowate said the programme is intended to strengthen local skills and support development by enabling more students to access professional and academic training.
