Nyepo Community Presents Concerns to CES Governor

  (JUBA / KAJO-KEJI) – The Nyepo Community, led by its Interim Chairperson, Hon. Stephen Taban Elia, has formally extended congratulations to H.E. Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony on behalf of the entire community on Friday 06th, February, 2026.   During the engagement, community representatives expressed their strong commitment to working collaboratively with the Governor to achieve shared development goals and promote sustainable progress.   The meeting also provided an opportunity for the Nyepo Community to present several critical issues requiring urgent attention.   Key among these were the need to  improve healthcare services, advancement of education, and the urgent need for better road infrastructure to enhance economic  growth and improve the overall well-being of the Nyepo people.   The community delegation briefed the Governor on the forthcoming Nyepo Community elections. This internal democratic process aims to ensure a smooth leadership transition and the establishment of a new leadership team committed to advancing the welfare of the community.   In his remarks, Governor Emmanuel Adil emphasized that his leadership prioritizes service delivery, security, stability, and community resilience. He further urged the Nyepo Community to continue fostering unity and peaceful coexistence.   Governor Adil listened to the community concerns, presented possible solutions to the issues affecting the community.   Adil further reiterated his recent directive banning logging activities in the area as part of efforts to protect the  environment.
