Yei River County Pays Tribute to Late Payam Administrator

(YEI RIVER COUNTY) – The Commissioner of Yei River County has expressed deep sorrow following the death of Faida Raida Festo Hakim, the Deputy Payam Director of Yei Town Payam, who passed away early Thursday morning.

In a condolence message dated 11 December 2025, Hon. Emmanuel Taban Seme said the late Faida Raida died at around 4:00 am while receiving medical care at Harvesters Clinic in Yei town. Her death has brought sadness to the county administration and the wider Yei community.

The Commissioner described the late Faida Raida as a committed and hardworking administrator who played an important role in county development planning. He said her work contributed to improved service delivery and stronger local administration in Yei River County.

Hon. Emmanuel Taban Seme said the county government and the people of Yei had lost a dedicated public servant whose efforts helped strengthen local governance. He noted that her leadership and service would be remembered by colleagues and residents alike.

On behalf of the government of Yei River County and the people of Yei, the Commissioner conveyed his condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family during this difficult period of mourning. He said the loss was deeply felt across Yei Town Payam and the entire county.
