(Juba) – President Salva Kiir has dismissed General Augustino Jadalla Wani from his position as Governor of Central Equatoria State and appointed Rabio Emmanuel as his replacement. The announcement was made on Monday, June 16, 2025.
No official reason has yet been provided for the dismissal.
Rabio Emmanuel now becomes the new governor of Central Equatoria, a key administrative region that includes the capital, Juba.
