[PHOTOS] – Equatorian Women Leaders Call for Inclusive Leadership in Meeting With Governor

(JUBA) – The Dabur Women Association of Mangalla has congratulated Lt. Gen. Rabi Mujung Emmanuel on his recent appointment as Governor of Central Equatoria State. The association’s leadership paid a courtesy visit to the Governor in Juba on Sunday 7 July 2025, to deliver a personal message of support and goodwill.

During the visit, the women commended the President’s decision to appoint Lt. Gen. Mujung and expressed confidence in his ability to lead the State effectively. They also shared a number of suggestions and messages aimed at guiding the new Governor to lead with fairness, transparency and a focus on the common good.

Governor Mujung expressed his gratitude for the visit and the messages of encouragement. He praised the role of women in the peace process and called on the Dabur Women Association to continue serving as champions of peace and development across the State.

He further emphasised the importance of unity and community cooperation, noting that Central Equatoria can only move forward if all citizens work together for peace and national healing.
