(JUBA / LAINYA) – Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony has unveiled a series of infrastructure projects aimed at boosting connectivity and service delivery in Lainya County and Wonduruba Administrative Payam.
Key projects announced include the rehabilitation of the Loka-Birigo, Limbe-Mukaya, and Lainya-Bereka-Wonduruba roads. In addition to road improvements, the initiative features upgrading the Lainya Primary Health Care Center (PHCC) to a full hospital, constructing the Lainya Airstrip and strengthening rural cooperative societies.
Governor Adil stated that these interventions reflect the state government’s commitment to inclusive development and equitable service distribution.
Speaking at the 3rd Pojulu Cultural Festival at Rock City Playground in Juba on Friday, the Governor commended the community for organizing the event.
He highlighted the festival as a powerful symbol of unity, identity, and resilience, assuring that the state government will support the consistency and growth of such cultural initiatives across Central Equatoria.
