MTN Manager Warns Customers on SIM Card Registration

(YEI RIVER COUNTY) The MTN Regional Sales Manager for Yei, Lenga Ezra Terestio, has warned customers in Yei River County against buying already registered SIM cards.

Speaking on the Access Radio Morning Breakfast Talk Show on Monday, Terestio advised customers to always register their SIM cards using their own identity documents instead of purchasing pre-registered cards.

He explained that registering a SIM card with a personal identity card makes it easier for customers to recover or renew their phone numbers if they lose their SIM card, especially if they have mobile money accounts linked to the number.

Terestio also urged customers to register their SIM cards at the MTN main office in Yei to avoid fraud and other malpractices.
