(Juba) – The Co-operative Bank of South Sudan has launched a public awareness message showcasing the convenience and security of its Visa card services.
In a new promotional campaign, the bank is encouraging customers to use their Co-op Bank Visa cards for shopping and dining, whether in store or online, with full confidence in the card’s safety features.
The bank’s message has been shared on digital platforms and supported by customer outreach at its branches.
The Visa card allows users to make fast, secure, and cashless payments across a wide range of locations.
The move is an effort by the Co-operative Bank to promote digital banking habits and expand access to secure financial services across the country under the campaign “Swipe with confidence. Your Visa card is secure.”
According to the bank, customers can use their cards for retail shopping, restaurant payments, and online purchases, reducing the need to carry large amounts of cash.
The Co-op Bank Visa card is accepted both within South Sudan and globally, offering customers greater flexibility when making payments.
Co-operative Bank operates in several key South Sudanese towns and cities, including Juba, Malakia, Nimule, Kololo, Wau, Gumbo, and Gudele.
The bank is licensed and regulated by the Bank of South Sudan and continues to expand its services to meet the demands of a growing urban and rural customer base.
In recent years, banks in South Sudan have placed more emphasis on secure banking tools and digital innovation, responding to a rising demand for efficient and trustworthy payment systems.
Co-operative Bank’s Visa card initiative aligns with national efforts to promote financial inclusion and reduce risks associated with cash-based transactions.
Customers are encouraged to apply for the card through the bank’s official website or by visiting any of its local branches.
The bank also offers customer support for cardholders, including fraud alerts, PIN security, and transaction tracking.
