(LAINYA COUNTY, CES) – The Caretaker Commissioner of Lainya County, Laku Micah Wani, has dissolved the county’s Juba Coordination Office, including the office coordinator and respective Payam coordinators.
The decision is contained in Local Order Number 01/2026, issued on Monday, 19 October 2026.
According to the order, the dissolution takes immediate effect.
Commissioner Wani said the decision was made under powers conferred upon the office by Gubernatorial Decree Number 01/2026, read together with Section 68, subsections one and two of the Local Government Act 2009.
The order directs the Lainya County Local Government Council to take the necessary steps to implement the decision with immediate effect.
The document, signed and stamped by the Caretaker Commissioner, does not state the reasons for dissolving the Juba Coordination Office or indicate when new coordinators will be appointed.
