(JUBA) – The Mangalla and Wonduruba communities have pledged support for Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony, while urging his administration to improve security and public services in their areas.
During a visit to the Governor’s residence in Juba, the Mangalla Town Community congratulated Governor Adil and asked for stronger security measures.
They said continued insecurity has affected movement, farming and trade, and they hope the state government will act quickly to stabilise the area. The group also assured the Governor of their cooperation as part of efforts to promote peace and community strength.
The Wonduruba Community also met the Governor to deliver their congratulatory message. They raised concerns about limited services in their area, and requested improvements in education, health care and security. Community members said these areas remain essential for development and urged the state government to prioritise them.
Governor Adil said his administration is committed to addressing the concerns raised. He called for close cooperation between the government and local communities, noting that lasting security and resilience can only be achieved when citizens participate actively. He added that state institutions will work with traditional leaders to strengthen security arrangements and improve service delivery.
