Governor Adil Confirms Security Restored in Rokon Payam, Calls on Displaced Residents to Return

(JUBA COUNTY) – Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony has been briefed on recent security incidents in Mirikiyo Boma, Rokon Payam, following clashes between herders and farmers that caused casualties and displacement.

State Security Adviser Hon. Angelo Daya and Juba County Commissioner Hon. Emmanuel Tete Ezbon reported that normalcy has been restored after joint security operations and visits by local authorities.

The Governor directed the Commissioner to maintain full security and urged displaced residents to be patient while tougher measures are implemented to hold perpetrators accountable.

Governor Adil praised the security team for swift action in restoring peace and reassured the community of their safety. Residents are encouraged to return home in time for the farming season, with government support and humanitarian aid to assist those affected by the clashes.
