Christopher Taharir
(OPEN LETTER) – I would like to begin by thanking the Commissioner for his decision to relieve me of my duties as the Press Secretary in his office on Monday, 19 January 2026.
I have accepted this decision positively as a part of the standard transition in public service. Just as I celebrated my appointment one year ago, I sincerely celebrate my departure today.
On behalf of myself and my family, I wish to thank the people of Yei River County, my colleagues, and the entire team in the Office of the Commissioner.
I am grateful to them for accepting me and for the support they provided while we worked together. It was a privilege to meet you all and I value the assistance I received during my time in this role.
As a young and energetic civil servant, I enjoyed the opportunity offered to me by the Commissioner to serve the people of Yei River County.
I will continue to work and offer support where it is needed. I also remain loyal to the county administration and the government.
Finally, I express my gratitude to the Commissioner once more. I wish my former team a successful journey as they continue to serve the people of our county. I look forward to any future opportunities to serve in other sectors.
