County Programme Helps Over Twenty Students Graduate/Handout
(YEI RIVER COUNTY) – More than twenty students from Morobo County have graduated from Yei Teachers Training College after completing certificate and diploma courses in primary education. The ceremony took place on Monday at the college compound.
One of the graduates, Asega Obadiah, said he was grateful for the support provided by the Morobo County Administration during their studies.
The students were part of the county’s education support programme, which is managed through the County Education Department and helps learners pursue further training in teaching.
Morobo County Commissioner, Charles Data Bullen, attended the event and praised the graduates for their dedication and effort. He said the new teachers will help reduce the shortage of trained staff in primary schools across Morobo County.
The commissioner also said his administration remains committed to tackling challenges in the education sector. He added that improving education in the county will continue to be one of his top priorities.
The statement was issued by the Morobo County press unit.
