(YEI RIVER COUNTY) – The leadership of Yei River County has congratulated Emmanuel Adil Anthony on his reappointment as Governor of Central Equatoria State. The message, issued on Wednesday, expressed full support for the governor as he begins a second term in office.
In the statement, the County Commissioner said the people and administration of Yei River County welcomed the decision by President Salva Kiir Mayardit to renew Adil’s mandate. He said the move showed continued trust in the governor’s leadership and experience.

The statement added that the county stands ready to work with the state government to improve service delivery, governance, security, and local development. The commissioner said the responsibilities ahead are significant but assured the governor of full cooperation from Yei River County.
The county administration also thanked the outgoing governor, Rabi Mujang Emmanuel, for his service to the people of Central Equatoria State.
