Kajo-Keji Gets New Caretaker Commissioner

(KAJO-KEJI COUNTY)– The newly appointed Caretaker Commissioner of Kajo-Keji County, Charles Lako Yensuk Losio, has on Wednesday officially assumed office following an enthronement ceremony attended by government officials, community leaders and residents.

The ceremony was presided over by Central Equatoria State Caretaker Minister of Roads, Bridges and Physical Infrastructure, Hon. Misuk Moses, who represented Caretaker Governor Gen. Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani.

In his address, Commissioner Charles Lako called on the people of Kajo-Keji to support his administration as he works to prepare the county for the upcoming December elections. He stressed the importance of unity, cooperation and accountability, while warning corrupt officials against the misuse of public funds.

Speaking on behalf of the state government, Hon. Misuk Moses praised the people of Kajo-Keji for their commitment to peacebuilding and urged local leaders, youth and women to support the new commissioner in carrying out his mandate.

Former National deputy Minister of Public Service Gen. Julius Tabuley also emphasized teamwork as key to promoting development and effective governance in the county.

The event concluded with prayers and messages of support from traditional chiefs and religious leaders, who expressed hope for peace, stability and progress under the new county leadership.
