(JUBA) – Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony of Central Equatoria State has met with Governor Simon Ober Mawut of Northern Bahr El Ghazal to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between their states. The meeting took place in Juba on November 29, 2025.
The two leaders exchanged ideas on areas that could benefit both states. They discussed advancing peace, unity, and security, with a focus on supporting development projects and creating safer communities.
Governor Ober congratulated Governor Adil on his re-appointment and expressed confidence in his leadership to guide Central Equatoria State towards growth and stability.
Governor Adil highlighted the importance of working with neighbouring states to share experiences and coordinate efforts that promote progress for citizens in both regions.
An official statement from the Central Equatoria Press Unit said the meeting set the stage for further collaboration, including joint planning in security, infrastructure and social services.
