Lainya County Welcomes New State and National Appointments

(LAINYA COUNTY) – The Commissioner of Lainya County has sent a message of congratulations to Vice President Dr James Wani Igga and Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony following their recent appointments.

In a statement issued from Lainya County, Commissioner Robert John Moris Lasu said the people of the county join him in welcoming the two leaders to their new duties.

He said the appointments made by President Salva Kiir Mayardit show the trust placed in the Vice President and the Governor to guide affairs at national and state level.

The Commissioner described both leaders as dedicated and capable, adding that their experience gives confidence to citizens in Central Equatoria State and across South Sudan. He said the county respects the decision of the President and believes the leaders will work for the good of the country.

He said the appointments are a sign of the important role both leaders will play. He also expressed hope that their work will bring progress to the state and the nation.

Commissioner Lasu said he takes pride in the achievements of the two officials and offered the support of Lainya County as they begin their new responsibilities. He added that cooperation at all levels will help in serving the people of South Sudan and Central Equatoria State.

The Commissioner concluded by wishing the Vice President and the Governor success and asked for God’s guidance as they carry out their duties.
