(JUBA) – The Senior Presidential Envoy on Special Programs, Hon. Adut Salva Kiir, has paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Central Equatoria State, Lt. Gen. Rabi Mujung Emmanuel. The meeting took place on Monday, 25 August 2025, in Juba.
Hon. Adut, who was recently appointed as the Senior Presidential Envoy, held discussions with the governor on areas of collaboration between her office and the leadership of Central Equatoria State. Although details of the discussions were not made public, officials said the talks focused on strengthening cooperation and supporting government priorities.
Governor Mujung congratulated Hon. Adut on her new role and expressed his commitment to work closely with her office. He pledged support and cooperation to help her carry out her responsibilities effectively and to ensure success in her national assignment.
The governor also assured the envoy that the leadership of Central Equatoria State is ready to provide guidance and assistance wherever necessary. He added that such cooperation is essential for delivering services and improving governance in the state and across South Sudan.
Adut thanked the Governor for his warm welcome and encouragement. She also expressed her willingness to work together with the leadership of Central Equatoria State to promote peace, stability and development.
