Overview
The Embassy of Japan in South Sudan is recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Clerk to provide support to the Political Affairs, Economic & Development Cooperation, and Public Relations sections.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct political and economic research and prepare reports.

Maintain communication with government, development partners, and other stakeholders.

Support cultural and public relations activities.

Assist in drafting, coordinating, and implementing Embassy projects.
Conditions of Service
| Working Hours | Monday–Thursday: 8:00–12:00 & 14:00–16:30; Friday: 8:00–12:45 (38.75 hours per week) |

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Economics, Development Studies, Political Science, Communication, or related fields.

At least 2–3 years’ relevant professional experience (economic analysis, trade, development, public relations, or cultural promotion).

Excellent English (oral and written). Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Strong research, analytical and communication skills; ability to prepare concise reports.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; social media/digital tools desirable.
