Role Summary

Zain South Sudan is seeking a Procurement & Engineering Analyst Team Leader to oversee purchasing and procurement processes in line with company policies, international trade regulations, and local laws. The role reports to the Procurement Manager and plays a key part in ensuring cost-effective, timely, and high-quality delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of products and services including technology, infrastructure, network equipment, uniforms, stationery, and consultancy services.

• Ensure compliance with tendering policies, audit requirements, and procurement standards.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and conduct supplier price and quality comparisons.

• Build and manage supplier, vendor, and contractor relationships locally and internationally.

• Negotiate contracts to secure cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.

• Coordinate with finance, suppliers, and customs for order management and payment processes.

• Provide procurement advice across departments and support consistent service delivery.

• Train, coach, and mentor staff to strengthen procurement capability.

• Engage with government bodies, suppliers, and stakeholders to support business operations.

• Contribute to procurement planning linked to business growth and change.
