Role Summary
Zain South Sudan is seeking a Procurement & Engineering Analyst Team Leader to oversee purchasing and procurement processes in line with company policies, international trade regulations, and local laws. The role reports to the Procurement Manager and plays a key part in ensuring cost-effective, timely, and high-quality delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities

Manage procurement of products and services including technology, infrastructure, network equipment, uniforms, stationery, and consultancy services.

Ensure compliance with tendering policies, audit requirements, and procurement standards.

Maintain accurate purchasing records and conduct supplier price and quality comparisons.

Build and manage supplier, vendor, and contractor relationships locally and internationally.

Negotiate contracts to secure cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.

Coordinate with finance, suppliers, and customs for order management and payment processes.

Provide procurement advice across departments and support consistent service delivery.

Train, coach, and mentor staff to strengthen procurement capability.

Engage with government bodies, suppliers, and stakeholders to support business operations.

Contribute to procurement planning linked to business growth and change.
