(JUBA, SOUTH SUDAN) – The SPLM Resource Mobilisation Committee has met with the Minister in the Office of the President, Africano Monday, to discuss its activities and priorities as the party prepares for the December 2026 elections.
The delegation was led by Lam Tungwar.
The meeting focused on the work of the Resource Mobilisation Committee and its role in supporting the SPLM’s preparations for the elections.
The delegation briefed the Minister on the committee’s ongoing activities and discussed possible areas of support and coordination.
The engagement also followed up on a meeting held in September between the Resource Mobilisation Committee and President Salva Kiir Mayardit, who is also the Chairman of the SPLM
The Party Secretariat reported that during that meeting, discussions centred on the activities of the committee and its contribution to the party’s preparations for the upcoming electoral process.
The latest meeting gave the committee a chance to further engage the Office of the President on its resource mobilisation activities.
It also aimed to strengthen coordination in support of the SPLM’s programmes and preparations.
Lam Tungwar, who led the delegation, reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to carrying out its responsibilities and supporting the party as it works towards the December 2026 elections.
