Yei SPLM Members Prepare for Juba Delegation

(YEI RIVER COUNTY) – Members of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) in Yei River County are preparing to receive a delegation of senior party leaders expected to travel from Juba later this month for consultations with local members.

Party officials said preparations are underway to welcome the delegation, whose visit is expected to focus on party activities, consultations with grassroots members, and discussions on development and governance issues affecting Yei River County.

The officials said the planned visit is intended to strengthen engagement between the party leadership and local members in the county.

The SPLM has not yet announced the exact date of the visit, the names of the delegation members, or the full agenda for the meetings.

The expected visit comes as political parties across South Sudan continue engaging their members ahead of key national political processes and development initiatives.
