Solidarités International (SI) has been delivering humanitarian aid for over 40 years. In South Sudan, SI provides emergency and recovery support in WASH, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), and Non-Food Item (NFI) distribution.
About the Role
SI is seeking a Program Manager (M/F) to establish and lead its operations in the Sobat area, initially in Ulang and Baliet. The role involves launching new programmes, building operational structures, and ensuring effective delivery of assistance.
Key responsibilities include:

Designing, implementing, and monitoring WASH, FSL, and NFI programmes.

Building trusted relationships with communities, authorities, and partners.

Managing assessments, reporting, and community engagement mechanisms.

Supervising and recruiting programme staff.

Ensuring compliance with donor and SI standards.
This is a technical and management role requiring adaptability in a challenging humanitarian context.
Candidate Profile
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Water Management, Hydrogeology, Biology, or similar.

3–4 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector.

Strong background in WASH programme management.
-
Experience in emergency response and distributions (NFI/CASH).

Excellent communication and community engagement skills.

Proficiency in English; Arabic an asset.
Salary & Benefits

From €2,100 gross/month + 10% annual leave allowance.

$700 monthly per diem.

Accommodation, insurance, and flights provided.
-
$850 break allowance every 3 months + rest days.
