(JUBA, SOUTH SUDAN) – Temporary power rationing remains in effect in Juba from 15th September to 15th October 2026 due to a major overhaul of the power plant, Juba Electric Distribution Company said in October 2026.
The company, JEDCO, published its Week 3 power rationing schedule covering 1st to 8th October 2026.
The schedule sets out the affected feeders, areas and planned outage times.
Outages are scheduled daily from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Customers have been advised to plan their activities accordingly and charge their phones and other essential devices in advance.
JEDCO said it appreciates the continued patience, cooperation and understanding of customers as it works to improve power supply reliability.
The Week 3 schedule for 1st to 8th October 2026 is as follows.
