
Empowerment Christian Church Joins Juba Officials in Outreach/PHOTO CREDITS: County Press
(JUBA COUNTY) – Hon. Emmanuel Tete Ezbon, Commissioner of Juba County, joined Prophetess Rev. Dr. Lucy Natasha, General Overseer of Empowerment Christian Church South Sudan, for a humanitarian outreach at Be in Hope Home, St. Vincent de Paul in Rejaf East on Saturday, 31 January 2026.
The visit focused on providing support to orphaned and vulnerable children at the centre. The delegation delivered assorted food supplies and other items and engaged with the children to offer encouragement and moments of joy.
Hon. Ezbon praised the management and caregivers at Be in Hope Home for their dedication to child welfare.
He said protecting and supporting vulnerable children remains a key priority for Juba County authorities and called for continued collaboration with faith-based organisations and humanitarian partners.
Prophetess Rev. Dr. Lucy Natasha reaffirmed the church’s commitment to service and compassion. She said practical acts of love remain central to Empowerment Christian Church’s mission, emphasising the importance of uplifting the less fortunate in South Sudan.
A statement from the County Press Unit said the outreach highlighted the role of partnerships between government leadership and faith based institutions in meeting humanitarian needs and promoting social responsibility across local communities.
