
Kiir Names Marik New Chief Administrator
(JUBA) – The Office of the President has announced changes among senior government officials following decrees by President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
Hon. Valentino Dhel Malueth, Chief Administrator at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, and Amb. David Amour Majur, Press Secretary in the Office of the President, have been relieved of their duties.
Hon. Marik Nanga Marik has been appointed Chief Administrator at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs. The appointment for the position of Press Secretary in the Office of the President is still pending and will be announced in due course.
The President expressed gratitude to the outgoing officials for their service and contributions to the nation, and extended best wishes to the newly appointed official in his role.
The changes take immediate effect.
