(YEI, CENTRAL EQUATORIA STATE) – Atlabara FC Yei has launched a community clean up campaign aimed at keeping Yei Town clean, with the first event set for Saturday 4 July 2026.
The “Keep Yei Clean” campaign was announced by the club’s management together with its players. It will be held every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM as part of an ongoing effort to promote a cleaner, healthier and more beautiful Yei Town.
The assembly point for the campaign is NPA Roundabout. The club has invited all community members, football lovers, youth groups and well wishers who believe in voluntary community service to take part.
Team Leader Godigoda Moses said every contribution, no matter how small, would help keep the town clean and inspire others to do the same.
“We look forward to working hand in hand with you for a cleaner Yei.” Mr Moses said in an online announcement.
The club stated that the voluntary clean up activity would become a routine held every Saturday:
“Our town, our pride, our responsibility,” the club said in its campaign message under the slogan “Clean Town, Better Yei, Better Future.”
