(JUBA) – The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, has honored a long-serving cleaner at the State Government Secretariat General for her exceptional commitment and dedication to duty.
The staff member, whose name was not disclosed, has worked at the state secretariat for over 10 years. Her consistent effort in maintaining cleanliness and order within government offices earned her public recognition from the governor.
Speaking to Access Radio, the governor’s spokesperson Derick Derickson said the gesture reflects the administration’s commitment to appreciating hardworking employees regardless of their employment status.
“The leadership supports those who are doing their work diligently, and the governor thought it wise that this hard-working woman who has been serving the state secretariat for a good number of years deserves this recognition as part of her efforts in rendering services. This recognition was accompanied by a monetary package and an award,” Derickson said.
According to the spokesperson, the recognition underscores the government’s commitment to boosting employee morale and encouraging dedication to public service across all levels of the state administration.
The gesture has been viewed as a sign of inclusive leadership, highlighting the importance of acknowledging contributions from all members of the workforce, regardless of position.
