(JUBA) – Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony joined mourners at All Saints Cathedral in Juba on Thursday to pay his last respect to the late Engineer Emmanuel Mathayo, who passed away in India while receiving medical treatment.
The service brought together family members, friends, colleagues and members of the public who gathered to honour the late engineer. Many described him as a committed civil servant who played an important role in state institutions.
In his remarks, Governor Adil expressed his condolences to the family and the wider community. He said the late engineer had served Central Equatoria State with dedication through his work in the Ministry of Housing, Land and Public Utilities. The Governor noted that Mathayo’s contribution to public service would be remembered by many.
Some cabinet members accompanied the Governor during the ceremony as the leadership of Central Equatoria joined the community in mourning the late engineer.
