
Hon. Samuel Malimbo Batali the new Yei River County Commissioner
(JUBA) – The government of Central Equatoria State has seen several leadership changes following Presidential decrees by H.E. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit. The changes affect state advisors, ministers, independent commissions, and county commissioners.
Several officials have been relieved of their duties. Among them are Hon. Valentino Kenyi, Advisor on Human Rights, Hon. John Yona, Advisor on Economic Affairs, and state ministers including Hon. Lupai Satimon Andrew, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Hon. Jacob Aligo Lo-Ladu, Minister for Peace Building, and Hon. Salah Rajab Bunduki, Minister for Finance, Planning and Investment. County commissioners relieved include Hon. Charles Data Bullen of Morobo, Hon. Emmanuel Taban Seme of Yei River County, and Hon. Robert John Morris of Lainya County.
New appointments have been made across the state administration. Hon. Clement Maring Samuel is the new Advisor on Human Rights, Hon. Samir Nasir Roman joins as Advisor on Economic Affairs, and Hon. Anna Kaku Samson as Advisor on Political Affairs. Ministers appointed include Hon. Augustino Ladu Martin, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Hon. Jacob Gore, Minister for Peace Building, Hon. Janet Aya, Minister of Finance, Planning and Investment, and Hon. Elizabeth Pita Lugor, Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare. County leadership changes include Hon. Joseph Mawa Akuba as Commissioner of Morobo County, Hon. Samuel Malimbo Batali as Commissioner of Yei River County, and Hon. Huda Micha Laila as Commissioner of Lainya County.
The President expressed gratitude to outgoing officials for their service and conveyed best wishes to the newly appointed leaders. The changes take effect from the date of signature of the Presidential decree.
