
Yei, Lainya, Morobo Counties Leadership Reshuffle/Credits: Courtesy
(JUBA) – Presidential decrees have ended the terms of the Commissioners of Yei River, Lainya, and Morobo counties after 19 months in office.
Hon. Emmanuel Taban Seme of Yei River County, Hon. Robert John Morris of Lainya County, and Hon. Charles Data Bullen of Morobo County have been relieved of their duties.
New appointments were made with Hon. Samuel Malimbo Batali named Commissioner of Yei River County, Hon. Huda Micha Laila taking over Lainya County, and Hon. Joseph Mawa Akuba becoming Commissioner of Morobo County.
The changes take effect from the date of signature of the Presidential decree. Authorities emphasised a smooth transition in line with national and state directives.
On behalf of the President, the Governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, expressed gratitude to outgoing officials for their service and conveyed best wishes to the newly appointed commissioners.
