(JUBA) – Young business owners and innovators in South Sudan have been offered a new chance to grow their ideas into successful enterprises, as Orange Corners South Sudan opens applications for its fourth training programme.
The enterprise training is supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands and designed to help start ups and small businesses move from concepts to real impact.
Over six months, participants will receive structured training, mentorship, networking opportunities and access to funding channels. The programme is free of charge and aims to strengthen South Sudan’s fast growing entrepreneurship space.
Applications opened on 1 September and will close on 5 October 2025. Organisers said the process will include shortlisting in the third week of October, a two day bootcamp in the fourth week of October, and final interviews at the end of November. The names of the selected entrepreneurs will be announced in the third week of December, with Cohort 4 officially launching in January 2026.
Previous participants have credited the programme with helping them refine their business models, connect with markets and expand their professional networks. Entrepreneurs have showcased their products at local events such as the Bargain Bazaar, which also supports women’s business groups.
Orange Corners works with local partners BizEx and Cypress to provide training and youth empowerment support. The organisers say their mission is to improve the survival rate of small businesses in South Sudan, where access to capital and mentorship remains limited. They also aim to build innovation driven growth by linking entrepreneurs with both local and international networks.
