(Juba) – The East African Health and Science Conference is currently underway in Juba, bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and regional experts from across East Africa to address pressing health priorities.

The focus has been placed on collective solutions to common challenges, such as communicable diseases, health system strengthening, and regional preparedness for public health emergencies.
Speakers from various sectors stressed the importance of collaboration in tackling issues that impact health at the regional level. They emphasized that no country can achieve meaningful health development alone, and that solidarity among East African countries is essential to achieve sustainable development goals and long-term health security.
