(JUBA) – Governors Emmanuel Adil Anthony of Central Equatoria State, Dr. Riek Gai Kok of Jonglei State, and Chief Administrator Gola Boyoi Gola of Pibor Administrative Area have held a joint meeting to improve peace and security across their regions. The meeting, chaired by Governor Adil, focused on collaboration to tackle shared challenges, protect communities, and strengthen regional stability.
The leaders reached several key decisions aimed at fostering cooperation and protecting citizens:

| Nationwide Disarmament | The national government will lead disarmament to reduce crime. |
| High Level Committee | The committee will include governors from Central and Eastern Equatoria, Jonglei, and Pibor’s chief administrator. |
| Crisis Management Team | Security advisors, ministers, police commissioners, and heads of other security sectors will coordinate responses. |
| Public Awareness Conferences | Rotational conferences will be held in all four areas to promote peaceful coexistence. |
| Road Rehabilitation | Roads connecting the four units will be repaired to improve movement of people and goods. |
The resolutions aim to address challenges such as insecurity along the Juba-Bor highway, damage to farmlands from roaming cattle, issues affecting internally displaced persons (IDPs), and land grabbing in Central Equatoria State.
The leaders called on communities to support the initiative and encouraged security agencies to act professionally to protect citizens. They also appealed to humanitarian organisations to assist in efforts to promote peace and development.
