Job Vacancy: ICT Project Support Officer (Aviation) (1 Position) – CTG (Committed To Good), South Sudan

CTG (Committed To Good) is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to fill the position of ICT Project Support Officer (Aviation) in South Sudan. This role offers an opportunity to support critical aviation and ICT systems that underpin humanitarian and development operations in a complex operating environment.

The ICT Project Support Officer (Aviation) will be responsible for managing the Aviation Information Management Suite, specifically the Flight Scheduling and Support module, to ensure accurate recording of aircraft use reports and other essential aviation data. The role will also manage user access control within the system and generate electronic Monthly Aviation Reports to support cost recovery and payments related to aviation contracts.

The position involves managing ICT related financial systems within UMOJA, including BPC, ECC and SAP, and producing Power BI analytics. The officer will provide technical support to ensure continuity of aviation systems and improve data integrity between AIMS and UMOJA. Additional responsibilities include budget preparation, cost analysis, contract disbursement tracking, invoice processing, and monitoring expenditure against approved budgets.

The successful candidate will act as a focal point for aviation cost recovery, coordinate closely with procurement and acquisition teams, and prepare financial documentation such as service entry sheets, fund commitments and inter mission billing. The role reports directly to the Chief Aviation Section and does not include staff management responsibilities.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, finance or IT. A Master’s degree is an added advantage. At least five years of experience in budget and finance or accounting is required, including a minimum of four years working with aviation budget and finance systems and AIMS modules. Strong knowledge of UMOJA financial tools, Power BI and Microsoft Office is essential. Knowledge of UN IPSAS standards is desirable.
