(JUBA COUNTY) – The Rejaf Community paid a courtesy visit to Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony to congratulate him on his re-appointment and to express continued support for the state leadership.
During the visit, the community outlined pressing concerns, including insecurity, armed cattle herders roaming the area, child abductions and land grabbing, calling for swift government intervention.
Governor Adil assured the community that these challenges will be addressed. He emphasised the importance of working with all stakeholders to improve security and advance the re-organisation of Juba.
He noted that his re-appointment provides an opportunity to push forward key objectives, including strengthening security and resolving land disputes.
The Governor stressed that decisive action will be taken to ensure land is allocated to rightful owners, aiming to reduce land-related conflicts across the state.
Former Minister of Environment and Forestry, Hon. Josephine Napwon Cosmos, urged the community to unite in supporting Governor Adil’s agenda, highlighting the need for collaboration to achieve peace and sustainable development in Central Equatoria State.
